Culina Group is recruiting for a General Warehouse Operative to join our chilled distribution operation in Tilbury. You’ll work a 4 on 4 off nights schedule (06:00–18:00) in a temperature-controlled environment around 3°C, handling palletised stock and ensuring accurate orders.

We value safety, reliability and teamwork. A D1/D2 Reach FLT licence and experience in a similar warehouse help you succeed; a site bonus and transport from Tilbury Town Station are part of the package.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in a palletised storage environment.
• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload wagons or containers following site procedures.
• Scan pallets into correct locations and complete tasks accurately.
• Move and handle goods to maintain product quality.
• Support smooth stock flow across the warehouse.
• Perform equipment checks and report faults or safety concerns.
• Follow site safety systems, PPE, walkways, and areas.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to ensure clear handovers.

Salary: £34380.34 + Night Shift Premium of £2421.00 per Annum

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)

We also have a site bonus scheme that rewards colleagues for their performance. This can increase earnings by an additional £2,50 per hour, £5,500 per annum

Free Transport from Tilbury Town Station once employed.

Full Time Permanent Role

We’re looking for experienced General Warehouse Operative to join our busy chilled distribution operation. You’ll play a key role in keeping stock moving safely and efficiently across a fully palletised warehouse environment.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious MHE / FLT Reach Drivers who are confident working in a fast-paced warehouse and take pride in accuracy, teamwork and high standards.

The role is based within our chilled warehouse, operating at approximately 3°C, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll play a key role in keeping our customer orders moving safely, accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in a palletised storage and distribution environment.
• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload wagons or containers in line with site procedures.
• Scan pallets accurately into the correct locations and complete all tasks fully.
• Move, organise and handle goods carefully to maintain product quality and condition.
• Support the smooth flow of stock throughout the warehouse operation.
• Carry out equipment checks and report any faults, damage or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow site safe systems of work, including PPE, walkways and designated areas.
• Work closely with Team Leaders, colleagues and shift teams to ensure clear handovers and operational priorities are met.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working in a similar warehouse environment is advantageous
• D1 or D2 Reach FLT Licence and experience is essential for this role (In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience)
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and targets.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Can work on a 4 on 4 off shift Pattern
