Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly 2-form entry primary school in Sutton Coldfield, working across Year 5 and Year 6. The role starts ASAP for the remainder of the academic year, with a focus on supporting Numeracy and Literacy and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' school-based experience, be confident working on their own initiative, and contribute to a nurturing, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a school environment.
• Experience supporting Numeracy and Literacy in a primary setting.
• Ability to work with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and adapt to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in Numeracy and Literacy to achieve targets.

A 2 form entry school in Sutton Coldfield is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across Year 5 and 6 starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year.

The successful candidate will have strengths in Numeracy and Literacy and have experience in supporting children in this area. A minimum of 6 months experience in a school environment is necessary.

This role will entail working with the children who require additional support and helping them to achieve their full potential.

This role is situated in a really nice, welcoming school who have an excellent management team and a really strong and supportive teaching team.

The successful teaching assistant must possess confidence and have the ability to work on their own initiative.
