Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant to join a highly respected primary school in Knowsley. The role involves working as a flexible teaching assistant across the school, leading PE sessions over lunchtime, and delivering sports activities in the after-school club from 3pm to 5pm daily.

The position is available to start ASAP and will continue until July 2025, with potential extension into September 2025 for the right candidate.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with experienced teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Support small groups, ensuring all children feel confident and valued.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Deliver sports activities to children across both key stages during lunchtimes and in the after-school club.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working in a UK school setting is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Two references from the past five years, including one safeguarding reference.
