Join a well-established training provider with a reputation for learner success and employee satisfaction. We’re seeking a motivated Apprenticeship Skills Coach to support Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and leadership apprenticeship programmes.

We are an independent vocational education provider looking for dynamic individuals eager to help others progress through their apprenticeships. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in delivering apprenticeships.

About the job

You will manage a remote caseload of learners, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality coaching, tailored support, and regular progress tracking to ensure learners reach their potential and complete their programmes successfully.

Responsibilities include visiting learners remotely or in the workplace, training, and assessing them to meet contractual and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
  • Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
  • Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely completion.
  • Track progress and implement interventions to maintain engagement.
  • Coordinate with employers to align training with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with funding and Ofsted standards.
  • Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to improve delivery and outcomes.
  • Prepare, review, and agree on assessment plans with candidates.
  • Create and submit learner portfolios according to standards.
  • Conduct monthly learner visits, either face-to-face or remotely, to provide support.
  • Visit employers to complete progress reviews.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business, passionate about coaching future leaders and business professionals, and supporting learners to succeed in their careers.

Must have:

  • Own transport and ability to cover the South (remote delivery).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and travel as needed.
  • Desire and ability to deliver training to groups and individuals on Apprenticeship standards, including Vocational Qualifications.
  • Organized and methodical working approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
  • TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
  • NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 (preferred but not essential).

Great if you also have:

  • Experience coaching or training learners in apprenticeship or education settings.
  • Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
  • Recognized assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
