Job summary

Grove Road Community Primary School in Harrogate is seeking a General Teaching Assistant (SEN) on a fixed-term basis through to 31 August 2027. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week, supporting pupils with complex needs and working with the SENCO and staff to facilitate learning.

You will provide one-to-one support, assist with differentiated activities, promote positive behaviour and monitor pupil progress, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with students requiring individual support due to complex needs. You will play a key role in enabling access to learning, supporting communication and promoting independence and well- being.
