Job summary

Aspin Park Academy in Knaresborough is seeking a General Teaching Assistant to support teaching across KS1 or KS2. The role requires experience with primary-aged children and a good understanding of development and additional needs.

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is required, and DBS checks will apply. The successful candidate will work 22.5 hours per week on a permanent contract, with term-time only plus five training days.

Aspin Park Academy is a happy and caring academy situated in Knaresborough. We have a vacancy for a General Teaching Assistant to work with our motivated and caring team. This position will be working in KS1 or KS2, but successful candidates must be prepared to work with all ages if asked.

The successful candidate will have experience with working with children across the primary age range and have a good understanding development and differing needs. They will have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility and initiative in the classroom.
