Haskins Garden Centres is recruiting a Retail Assistant for the Outdoor Plants department on a part-time, permanent basis, working every weekend (Sat 11:00–18:00; Sun 10:30–17:30). Based in Crawley, you will help customers, manage stock, and maintain displays.

This role suits a self-motivated, enthusiastic person with strong customer service skills and an interest in garden products. Previous retail experience is desirable.

We are recruiting a Retail Assistant in our Outdoor Plants department on a Part-Time, Permanent basis, working every weekend.

Saturday - 6.25hrs (11am - 6pm) Retail Assistant

Sunday - 6.25hrs (10:30am - 5:30pm) Retail Assistant

The role of Retail Assistant

Our Retail Assistants welcome customers to the centre and help with questions or queries across a wide variety of Indoor and Outdoor product ranges. They "Go the extra mile" to drive sales and achieve department goals whilst maintaining product condition, presentation, and stock levels within inventory control procedures. Involving some heavy lifting this role can be physically demanding.

Key Responsibilities include:

• General housekeeping duties

About You

This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn. Based in the Outdoor Plants Department you will offer excellent service and provide information on the wide range of products. Previous retail experience is desirable.
