Military Medical Personnel is seeking a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD experience to cover an assignment at Aldershot Medical Centre in Aldershot, Hampshire. The role is 30 hours per week, focused on high-quality care for MoD personnel.

You will work hourly at £69.12, with a supportive consultant and flexible short- or longer-term placements. Essential requirements include GMC registration, annual appraisal, MOD experience, and NHS Performer List. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD Experience to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Aldershot Medical Centre, in Aldershot, Hampshire.

This is a locum role (30 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Hourly Rate - £69.12 per hour

Job Description:

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.


• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification.


• To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson’s ability to undertake their duties.


• To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.


• To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.

Essential requirements/ Qualification/ Experience:

• Registration with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the General Medical Council (GMC) GP Register without Restrictions.


• Must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Council’s (GMC’s) Good Medical Practice (GMP).


• Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.


• Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) Experience.


• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.
