Honeybeerecruitment.com Ltd. trading as Military Medical Personnel (MMP) is seeking a Locum General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine qualification to cover a MoD assignment at RAF Boulmer Medical Centre, near Alnwick, Northumberland. The role is 37 hours per week with an hourly rate of £72.58.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality care to MoD service personnel and participate in PHC clinics and OH assessments within their scope, with compliance to MOD policies.

Formación

• Must be GMC registered on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without Restrictions.
• Diploma in Aviation Medicine or RAF MAME Course completed.
• Current, satisfactory annual appraisal in line with GMC Good Medical Practice (GMP).
• Must have up-to-date safeguarding training (Children and Young People and Adults, Level 3).
• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification.
• Inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceman’s ability to undertake duties.
• Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or other government requirements.
• Attend management reviews or case conferences with PHC and/or line management as required.

We are lookingfor a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine Qualification)to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at RAF Boulmer Medical Centre, in Alnwick, Northumberland.

This is alocum role (37 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver anexceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Hourly Rate - £72.58 per hour

Qualifications

• Essential requirements/ Qualifications/ Experience:


• General Practitioners must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) both on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without Restrictions.


• Diploma in Aviation Medicine or have completed the RAF Military Aviation Medicine Examiner (MAME) Course.


• Must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Councils (GMCs) Good Medical Practice (GMP).


• Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.


• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.
