Job description

A six-week locum post for a GP, placed by Military Medical Personnel with the Ministry of Defence at Weeton Medical Centre. What the job involves

• Run primary healthcare clinics for military and entitled personnel
• Carry out examinations and occupational health fitness-for-work assessments within scope of experience and qualification
• Inform the local medical authority of any case affecting a service person's ability to perform their duties
• Complete reports and documentation under MoD policy or the requirements of other government departments
• Attend individual management reviews or case conferences with primary healthcare and/or line management as required

• Safeguarding children and young people and safeguarding adults training up to and including Level 3, in date with certification

• GMC GP Register without restrictions
• Entry on the UK NHS Performers List with an NHS performer number

• PVG membership (Disclosure Scotland) or Access Northern Ireland certificate
