Practice Plus Group is recruiting a General Practitioner to join the Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, Market Harborough. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver psychiatric support to adult male patients with complex mental health needs.

This part-time role offers Friday hours 8:00-16:30 or 8:30-17:00, 8 hours per week, with an annual salary up to £135,000 FTE dependent on experience. We provide bespoke induction and career development opportunities, plus 24/7 support in a secure

Qualifications

• MBChB or MBBS with GMC registration.
• Inclusion on GMC Register and GP Performers List.
• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
• Experience as a GP in community general practice with CPD.
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients as a GP in a prison setting.
• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis and make timely management decisions.
• Support site healthcare governance and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

You will be working close with the multidisciplinary team, including GP's and ACP's to deliver Psychiatric support to adult males mainly aged 28-50. Most of whom have complex mental health and historic trauma needs.

Fridays: 8:00 - 16:30 or 8:30 - 17:00

This position is part time working 8 hours per week.

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary up to £135,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
