Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking a General Practitioner to join the Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison in South Gloucestershire. You will provide end-to-end care with a focus on long-term conditions, sexual health, or substance misuse within a multidisciplinary team.

The role is part-time (4 hours/week) with an annual salary up to £129,500 FTE, and offers bespoke induction, training, and regional career development opportunities. A supportive environment is provided.

Qualifications

• MBChB or MBBS is required.
• GMC Registration and GP Performers List must be current.
• Experience as a General Practitioner in community/general practice.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• CPD and ongoing learning supported.
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willing to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse patient group at a women's prison.
• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis, with timely management decisions.
• Be a highly skilled resource to the wider healthcare team on site.
• Engage in clinical governance and improvement activities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison based in South Gloucestershire. The site is located close to the M5 for commuters and is easily accessible from both Bristol and Gloucester.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison based in South Gloucestershire. The site is located close to the M5 for commuters and is easily accessible from both Bristol and Gloucester. HMP Eastwood Park houses around 442 patients aged 18-76. This role would suit a General Practitioner who is interested in delivering end to end care and has a particular interest in either long term conditions, sexual health or substance misuse. Within this role you will be working with a highly staffed multidisciplinary team providing medical leadership and expert advice.

Hours

Friday: 17:00 - 21:00

This is a part time role working 4 hours per week

Salary

You'll receive an annual salary up to £129,500 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
