Porters respond to fire, emergency, and resus calls to assist clinical teams. The role requires good physical health and offers Trust induction and full training, with access to NHS pension and staff facilities such as nurseries, restaurants and onsite

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our portering team at Eastbourne Hospital . This is a position working 12 hour shifts, days and nights.

A porter within a busy acute hospital setting will carry out many responsible duties. The main role and responsibilities are to move patients around from wards and departments such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, A&E.

Porters also attend fire calls, Emergency calls, Resus calls to assist the clinical teams, medical gasses and helicopter landings. This is a varied jobs role which the successful applicant will be required to be in good physical health.

A Trust induction and full training will be given.
