Job summary

Mint Selection is recruiting General Operatives to support a major Energy Storage project in Exeter. This role offers long‑term contract work with CIS rates and an opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile infrastructure program.

Responsibilities include site labouring, assisting trades and management, and keeping areas safe and organised. CSCS is essential; references and (desirable) UK driving licence strengthen applications.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is essential for site access and safety requirements.
• Two strong, recent work references are required.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Mint Selection is recruiting General Operatives to support the delivery of a major Energy Storage project based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects and work alongside a leading principal contractor delivering critical energy transition projects.

Responsibilities

• General site labouring and operative duties
• Assisting trades and site management teams
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
• Supporting material deliveries and site logistics
• Assisting with installation teams where required
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Completing tasks as instructed by supervisors and site management

Requirements

• Previous experience working on construction, infrastructure or energy projects
• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
• Must be able to provide two strong, recent work references
• CPCS/NPORS Plant Tickets advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team
• Full UK driving licence desirable
