Job summary

The NRL Group is seeking a reliable General Operative to join a busy Teesside construction site on a 6 month contract. You will support trades, maintain a safe and clean site, and assist with deliveries and stock management. The role offers steady weekly pay and ongoing opportunities across Teesside.

Ideally you have construction site experience, a good safety mindset, and a strong, reliable work ethic. This position is on-site and requires physical fitness to handle manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience on a construction site is preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with day-to-day site activities.
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Carrying out general labouring and site maintenance duties.
• Supporting deliveries and stock management.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Operating basic hand and power tools where required.
• Assisting with site setup and welfare area maintenance.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by site management.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous construction or labouring experience who are looking for ongoing work with a reputable contractor.

The successful candidate will support site operations, ensuring work areas are maintained to a high standard of safety and cleanliness while assisting trades and site management as required.
