Job summary

EA First Ltd exclusiv ely partnered with a Global 3PL provider to recruit a General Manager for their Coventry startup facility. You will lead the operations team, drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best-in-class performance.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will manage 8 direct reports and a 400–500 indirect workforce, building strong customer relationships to enable growth while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in 3PL, contract logistics at GM/site level.
• Experience managing budgets up to £15m per annum.
• Proven start-up operation experience & customer-facing roles.
• Commutable to Coventry and able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a management team of 8 direct reports across warehousing, inventory and H&S.
• Oversee indirect team of 400–500 and drive site performance.
• Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Drive CI and site transformation agenda.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and system implementations.
• Promote continuous improvement culture and maintain high customer service.
