Marston’s is seeking a General Manager for The Wellington Hotel in Powys, a high-volume, food-led pub with room for growth. You’ll lead the team, drive guest satisfaction and maximise revenue across wet, food and rooms, supported by award-winning training and a generous benefits package.

We're looking for a General Manager for ahistoric market town pub. Salary up to £43,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

This is an exciting opportunity to take the helm of a high-volume hotel and food-led business with strong and diverse revenue streams. Generating an estimated £30,000 in weekly sales, the site benefits from a balanced revenue mix, with 35% wet sales, 25% food sales and 40% rooms income, creating a resilient and profitable operation. The business caters to approximately 350 covers per week and offers significant scope to further grow both food and accommodation performance.

The ideal operator will have experience within a hotel environment, coupled with a strong track record of delivering a premium food offer that drives guest satisfaction, repeat visits and positive reputation. With multiple revenue opportunities across food, drink and rooms, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to maximise the site's potential and continue building on its success.

Management accommodation is available in the form of small studio flat.
