Our client, one of the UK's leading engineering firms, is seeking a commercially driven, hands-on leader to shape the future of a key division within a thriving business.

Reporting directly to the MD, you will manage a workforce of over 100 employees, providing strategic and operational leadership, driving efficiencies, managing the full P&L, and ensuring all business and profitability targets are met consistently.

Responsibilities:

1. Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
2. Manage over 100 employees, including recruitment, training and development, performance management, succession planning, and disciplinary procedures.
3. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through high-quality service and operational excellence.
4. Control operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and meet or exceed profitability targets.
5. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, operational efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
6. Oversee departmental functions to align with company objectives and performance targets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

1. Extensive senior management experience in an engineering environment, preferably with sheet metal, fabrication, and laser cutting expertise.
2. Proven track record of driving business growth and sustained profitability, with a focus on customer service excellence.
