General Manager Ideal Profile:

• Strong General Management experience within a busy, quality focused hospitality environment
• Confident and visible leadership style with the ability to motivate, develop and retain high performing teams
• Excellent commercial awareness with strong knowledge of budgets, payroll, cost control, revenue and profitability
• Passion for hospitality with a clear understanding of how to create consistently exceptional guest experiences
• Strong operational knowledge covering compliance, health and safety, property standards and hospitality best practice
• Pragmatic and solutions focused approach with excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills

General Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring consistently high standards of service, cleanliness, presentation and guest experience
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop the management and wider teams while creating a positive and engaging working environment
• Manage budgets, payroll, rotas, staffing costs and operational expenditure while driving revenue and profitability
• Build strong relationships with guests, respond effectively to feedback and ensure service issues are resolved professionally
• Maintain high standards across compliance, health and safety, company procedures, stock control and operational best practice
• Oversee property standards and preventative maintenance, coordinating effectively with contractors, suppliers and key external stakeholders
