Job Opportunity: General Manager at The Port Gaverne

The Port Gaverne is a quintessential pub featuring 17th-century exteriors, welcoming interiors, and 15 beautifully designed rooms for a perfect getaway. Located in the heart of Port Isaac, it offers breathtaking views that have served as the backdrop for a beloved TV series. This is a unique chance for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-profile venue and make a mark in its early years as part of the St Austell Brewery estate.

About You:
  • You lead the front of the business, managing a passionate team to deliver memorable experiences.
  • You embody the spirit and values of St Austell Brewery, inspiring your team through your example.
  • You monitor team performance closely, providing praise, constructive feedback, and nurturing talent.
  • You oversee finance and administrative tasks meticulously.
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • You have extensive experience in a similar role, capable of supporting your team when needed.
  • You are a natural leader, effective communicator, and adept at delegation to meet and exceed targets.
