About the Role

The General Manager (GM) is the most senior staff member responsible for managing all on-site staff at Lancer Square, a luxury mixed-use development in Kensington. The GM will work closely with the client, be customer-facing, and focus on resident, staff, and visitor experience. The role emphasizes relationship management, delegation, and high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with residents, contractors, and team members, understanding the needs of high-net-worth individuals.
2. Deliver exceptional service levels, setting standards for luxury residential and commercial spaces.
3. Lead and inspire the team, providing vision and strategy to ensure resident satisfaction.
4. Oversee service delivery, ensuring seamless integration and consistent quality.
5. Build and maintain community and business relationships to enhance property positioning.
6. Exceed resident expectations with proactive service and support.
7. Manage health and safety compliance and report to the client.
8. Conduct regular meetings with head office on operations, HR, resident concerns, maintenance, and budgets.
9. Develop and motivate an energetic team, providing coaching and feedback.
10. Interact professionally with guests, staff, and community members, embodying Rhodium’s culture.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least 5 years of general management experience in super-prime, mixed-use, or residential developments.
2. Experience managing service charges or budgets of at least £1 million.
3. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
4. Strong health and safety knowledge; IOSH/NEBOSH certification preferred.
5. Eligibility to work in the UK.
6. Existing contacts within London's luxury services and hospitality sectors.
