We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about food, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff members.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations with a focus on maintaining high standards of food and service.

Manage and train staff, ensuring a high level of service; schedule staff shifts.

Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Manage customer service issues and ensure guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with chefs and other culinary staff to maintain food quality and presentation.

Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.

Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.

Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.

Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar managerial role.

Strong understanding of restaurant management software, like OpenTable.

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Experience in resolving conflicts efficiently.

Knowledge of best practices for training restaurant staff and implementing restaurant policies and performance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Monday to Friday
