Based at EMR Liverpool Bank Hall facility, we are seeking a General Manager to support our team.

The metal recycling industry may not seem glamorous from the outside, but within, its innovation, processes, and technology are truly fascinating.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Managing employees across the operation, providing opportunities to learn from different levels of experience
• Leading operational teams and taking responsibility for the depot, exceeding targets, improving operations, and maximizing colleague and technology efficiency
• Ensuring customer service remains a priority, keeping customers at the heart of operations
• Applying continuous improvement methodologies to strive for operational excellence
• Initially managing your chosen site, with opportunities for career growth aligned with EMR’s net zero emissions target by 2040

About you:

No industry-specific knowledge is required. You should have a proven track record in Operational & Commercial Management within your industry, with management experience in related settings.

Valid UK Driving License is essential.
