Job summary

Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, part of The QHotels Collection, seeks a dynamic Resort General Manager to lead a 4*, 114-bedroom property perched near Ironbridge Gorge. You will inspire a high-performing team, shape guest experiences, and maximise sales and revenue while upholding the brand’s standards and values.

Ideal candidates bring proven experience running a large hotel with M&E, Golf, Leisure & Spa, or similar operations, plus a track record of developing concepts and delivering

Golf Resort is located in Telford and is 4*, 114-bedroom property. Our hotel
overlooks the Ironbridge Gorge with an 18-hole golf course and the dining
options include the 1779 restaurant, Gorge bar & lounge, and we offer
afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces. The
leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and a relaxing Elemis
spa.

What will I do?

Due to our current General Manager being offered an opportunity at another property within the group, we find ourselves in the rare
position of advertising this role. We
are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Resort General Manager, a
visionary leader who can inspire and influence a high performing team, bring
our values to life and maximise sales & revenue to deliver outstanding
results. You will create unforgettable guest experiences and continue to
take the Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on its journey to becoming a ‘destination
of choice’.

Is this the role for me?

• Passionate
  about continually driving top line performance.
• Previous experience operating a large M&E, Golf, Leisure & Spa,
  or multifaceted hotel.
• Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

  focused on delivering the highest levels of customer scores and online reputation.
  
• Have visibility within the property.
• An ability to think for oneself whilst
  understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability.
• Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all

  effectively with both.
