Job summary

The Rosy Hue, a new neighbourhood pub in Elephant and Castle, seeks an experienced General Manager with ownership mindset to steer daily operations, guest experiences and people development. You will lead a fresh food focused BOH and create a welcoming, community-led atmosphere in line with Livelyhood values.

Reporting to Livelyhood Venues, you will drive quarterly plans, implement growth strategies, and deliver excellent service while managing costs and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven General Manager with passion and ownership of the site.
• Strong commitment to guests, team, suppliers and charity partners.
• Experience leading quarterly business plans and community-focused hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the venue with pride, ownership, and accountability.
• Grow business and sales while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Mentor and manage the team, including Assistant Manager and AGM, to sustain excellent service.

General Manager for The Rosy Hue independent Pub in Elephant and Castle.

Livelyhood Venues is on the hunt for an experienced General Manager to bring Leadership and Passion to it's independent, fresh fool led Community Pub The Rosy Hue in Elephant and Castle.

This venue's a bit special -Fresh food focused, with a cracking BOH team.

Our General Managers lead in the delivery of Livelyhood in their venue in a way that has our five Lively Ways (values) of Authentic, Daring, People, Lively and Sustainable at its very heart.

About The Rosy Hue

Opening on the corner of the new two-acre Elephant Park development in Elephant & Castle, The Rosy Hue will be a classic neighbourhood pub, serving up delicious food all day alongside drinks and seasonal cocktails from local breweries and distilleries.

The site is inspired by the rich history of the area and its 19th century Penny Gaff dancing halls, with the name inspired by the rosy glow that appears on the cheeks of those who frequented there.

The front of the pub will be a social space for dining and drinking, whilst behind the arch you will find the perfect viewing for sports, live music and pub quizzes. An urban garden will be heated and protected from the elements, whilst the venue will also be dog friendly.

• A competitive salary of £53k - £56k based on your experience + tronc + Bonus
