Job summary

Smith & Western is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our busy restaurant and bar, working closely with the Head Chef and Directors to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage a team, oversee ordering, stock control and health & safety, and maintain our high standards across all areas of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Proven GM experience in branded restaurant environments
• Experience in high-volume restaurant operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience with fresh produce operations and stock control

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join the Smith & Western Family.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a General Manager in a branded restaurant environment, with experience of working at high volume, with fresh produce. You will have a positive and pro-active management style and share our passion for providing the highest quality customer service. You will also have bundles of energy alongside a winning smile and common sense in abundance!

As the go-to person for all aspects and issues of running this busy restaurant, you will enjoy a varied and hands on role, working closely with the Head Chef and Directors to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly and help to develop standards and drive the business forward whilst ensuring all customers leave with a smile on their face having had an amazing experience.
