Job summary

Hartford Care is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead Burnham Lodge, a 49-bed nursing home in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. You will be accountable for clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring exceptional care standards, regulatory compliance, and a warm, person-centred environment for residents and staff.

You will oversee all operational, financial, and care-related functions, drive QA, manage recruitment and budgets, and champion strong community links.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in health and social care leadership.
• Proven leadership experience in a residential care setting.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and person-centred care principles.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Solid IT skills and confidence managing budgets and resources.
• Experience supporting residents living with dementia.
• Hands-on, flexible approach to care home management.
• NMC PIN is desirable.

Location: Burnham Lodge - Burnham, Buckinghamshire

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and compassionate General Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a 49 bed nursing home in Burnham, Slough (SL1 8NU). You will take full accountability for clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring exceptional care standards and regulatory compliance while promoting a warm, person-centred environment for residents and staff.
