We're looking for a General Manager for a two-door format, community-led pub in Bradford. Salary up to £43k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains, operating more than 1,300 pubs, bars, and hotels. We’re seeking a great General Manager to lead the team at the Flying Squirrel in Bradford to success!

About the pub

The Flying Squirrel was newly refurbished in April 2025 with a £300k investment to convert it into our exciting new 2-door pub concept, offering guests family-friendly dining or a community wet-led pub with sports and games. Located near Bradford city centre on a busy retail park, it has good links to the M62 and M606 motorways. The pub serves traditional community pub food, with Sky Sports and TNT Sports, plus darts, pool, and an interactive media system for events like Bingo, karaoke, quizzes, and entertainment control.

The pub's current weekly sales are £16k, with a 50/50 split between wet and food sales. There’s great potential for growth through family dining and attracting sports fans during football season. Outside, there are two dining/drinking areas, including a patio and garden. A large shared car park with the retail park offers free guest parking.

Management accommodation includes three double bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge.
