Job description

We're looking for a General Manager for a two-door format, community-led pub in Bradford. Salary up to £43k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains, operating more than 1,300 pubs, bars, and hotels. We’re seeking a great General Manager to lead the team at the Flying Squirrel in Bradford to success!

About the pub

The Flying Squirrel was refurbished in April 2025 with a £300k investment, converting it into our exciting new two-door pub concept, offering family-friendly dining or a community wet-driven pub with sports and games. Located near Bradford city centre on a busy retail park, with good links to M62 and M606 motorways, it features a traditional community pub food menu, Sky Sports, TNT Sports, darts, pool, and an interactive media system for events like bingo, karaoke, quizzes, and entertainment.

Current weekly sales average £16k, split 50/50 between wet and food. There’s significant potential to increase sales by enhancing family dining and attracting sports fans during football season. Outside, there are two drinking and dining areas, including a patio and garden, plus a large shared car park with free guest parking.

Management accommodation includes three double bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge.
