Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a General Foreman / Site Manager for a contract role on a major wastewater treatment works project near Bournemouth. You will supervise daily site operations, coordinate construction activities, and support delivery of civil works in a safety-critical environment.

The role requires experience in civil engineering, water industry background, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. SMSTS would be advantageous with a focus on quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a General Foreman, Site Manager or similar within civil engineering.
• Background in the water industry, wastewater treatment or utilities construction.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage subcontractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a construction environment.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• SMSTS qualification is advantageous.
