Job summary

Everlast Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated General Assistant (Cleaner) to uphold the highest cleanliness standards across our facilities. This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on maintaining gym floors, changing rooms, showers, and common areas, ensuring a welcoming and safe member experience.

You will receive full training, opportunities for progression within Frasers Group, and access to gym facilities outside working hours.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not essential - full training provided.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safe chemical handling (training provided if needed).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• A good communicator and team player.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends in line with gym opening hours.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Emptying bins, replacing liners, and following waste disposal procedures.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
• Working alongside the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Reporting maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Upholding Everlast Gyms' cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
