Job summary

Everlast Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to maintain peak cleanliness across the facilities. This 20-hour-per-week role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to hygiene and safety.

You will clean gym floors, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal spaces; sanitise surfaces; manage waste; monitor supplies; and work with the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning/janitorial preferred but training provided.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, studios, locker rooms and communal spaces.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Emptying bins, replacing liners, and following waste disposal procedures.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
• Working alongside the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Reporting maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Upholding Everlast Gyms’ cleanliness and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

About You
