Speedy Hire Plc is seeking a General Assistant in Bury St Edmunds. The role supports depot operations with diverse tasks, including deliveries, stock control, and customer service at the hire desk.

Responsibilities

• Work across all areas of the depot to help it run smoothly.
• Perform deliveries and/or collections, assist with loading/unloading.
• Assist with electrical testing of equipment and stock control.
• Serve customers at the hire desk and provide great service.

General Assistant - Bury St Edmunds

Salary £29,572 Per Annum

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
