Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc is seeking a General Assistant (Fixed Term) in Liverpool. The role covers depot operations, deliveries, stock control, and customer service at the hire desk and on-site tasks. The incumbent will work 42 hours per week with flexible start/finish arrangements to support work-life balance.

Salary is £29,572 pro rata per annum, with benefits including pension, life assurance, and discount schemes. This position supports the ESG strategy and broader Speedy workforce initiatives.

Role - General Assistant (Fixed Term)

Location - Liverpool

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times 07:30-17:00 - 42 hours per week

Salary - £29,572 pro rata per annum

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
