West College Scotland in Paisley is recruiting a full-time porter to carry out manual labouring tasks and provide a reliable porter service on campus.
You will assist the Team Leader Operations with handyperson duties, driving tasks, grounds maintenance and litter picking, with a flexible shift pattern and availability to work out of hours for emergencies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out of porter duties, and be able to provide a manual labouring service. The postholder should be able to demonstrate all round skills with a practical approach and be methodical and attentive to detail. The successful candidate will assist the Team Leader Operations by carrying out additional general tasks such as handyperson, driving duties and undertaking manual labouring tasks, such as litter picking & grounds maintenance.
Candidates will have a basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and have experience in a role associated with maintenance or building trade/general labouring. Also, the successful candidate should have a current Driving License, be able to work a flexible shift pattern and available to work out of hours when need be i.e. for emergency response.
