Job summary

West College Scotland is seeking a porter/handyperson to perform porter duties and provide manual labouring support across campuses. The role includes assisting with general tasks, such as litter picking and grounds maintenance, and may involve driving duties and emergency out-of-hours work.

The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act, experience in maintenance or building trades, carry a valid driving licence, and be flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a role associated with maintenance or building trade/general labouring.
• Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Current Driving Licence and ability to work a flexible shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out porter duties and provide a manual labouring service.
• Assist the Team Leader Operations with general tasks such as handyperson duties.
