Job summary

JD Gyms in the UK is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards across our clubs. You will support a friendly member environment and uphold brand standards while delivering professional service and contributing to a positive atmosphere.

You will conduct daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, follow Health and Safety policies, report defects, maintain a professional appearance, and work with teammates to deliver outstanding member experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and wants to play an important role in creating a positive environment for members and colleagues. You'll be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness while providing friendly and professional support to members throughout the club.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
