Job summary

JD Gyms is expanding across the UK. We are seeking a role focused on maintaining high cleanliness standards and delivering friendly, professional support to members and staff.

You will conduct daily and periodic cleaning and safety checks, report defects, and uphold brand standards, contributing to a positive environment across our clubs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to delivering excellent member service and high standards.
• Experience in customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Effective communication and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while managing responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to keep the building and equipment safe.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards of the gym facility.
• Uphold professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Deliver outstanding member service through friendly interactions.
• Support training activities to promote consistent standards.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
