Job summary

Aviva is seeking a GenAI Platform Operations Lead to drive reliability, security and scalability across the Oasis Platform. You will lead a skilled team, optimize automation, observability and DevOps practices while mentoring engineers and fostering platform resilience at scale.

You will apply deep cloud and Kubernetes expertise, guide SRE and operational excellence initiatives, and champion AI‑powered operations to improve efficiency and service quality in a hybrid UK environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience operating large‑scale cloud‑native platforms (AWS, EKS/ECS).
• Proven SRE principles to improve reliability, observability and incident response.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform).
• Ability to mentor Operations Engineers and SREs.
• AIOps or AI‑driven operations familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Operations Engineers and SREs to deliver reliable platforms.
• Drive automation, observability and DevOps practices across the Oasis Platform.
• Coordinate incident response and risk mitigation for scale deployments.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to the team.
