Job summary

Aviva is seeking an AI Platforms Assurance Engineering Lead to establish and lead the assurance capability for the Oasis Platform. You will define standards, frameworks and practices to ensure quality, reliability, safety and trust in AI solutions deployed across the organisation.

Working across software engineering, AI engineering, security, risk and governance, you will drive automated testing, evaluation frameworks and AI safety controls while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering

Qualifications

• Strong software, platform and quality engineering background with automated testing & assurance frameworks.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and AI evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to build scalable engineering standards, quality gates, and assurance controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership, influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Security, Risk and Governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities balancing innovation and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish the assurance capability for Aviva's Oasis AI platform.
• Define standards, frameworks and practices for quality, reliability, safety and trust in AI solutions.
• Develop and champion automated testing, evaluation frameworks and AI safety controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Assurance, Security and Risk teams to embed assurance throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Support Aviva's Responsible AI strategy and position Oasis Platform as a centre of excellence.
