Job summary

IEG is seeking a Governance & Data Protection (GDPR) Manager to lead information governance, data protection compliance and policy frameworks across the college group. You will coordinate GDPR activities, manage data rights requests and oversee records management, reporting to the CFO and Governance Director.

You will guide policy reviews, support governance meetings and promote a culture of accountability, safeguarding and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GDPR, data protection laws and information governance.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities with reporting skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information independently and with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GDPR compliance across the group and manage information rights requests.
• Oversee FOI processes, information governance policies and records management.
• Provide specialist advice to senior leaders and governance committees.
