IEG is seeking a Governance, Data Protection (GDPR) & Policy Manager to lead information governance, data protection compliance and policy frameworks across the Stamford-based college group. You will work with senior leaders to ensure policies and procedures meet statutory requirements and support transparent governance.

The role involves coordinating data protection activities, managing FOI requests, maintaining information assets, and driving continuous improvement in governance practices

Qualifikationen

• Experience in governance, data protection, compliance and policy management.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and information governance principles.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and with initiative.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Aufgaben

• Data Protection & GDPR: coordinate compliance with data protection legislation and information rights requests.
• Freedom of Information: manage FOI and EIR requests with statutory deadlines.
• Records & Information Management: maintain records retention arrangements and asset registers.
• Governance & Risk: maintain risk registers and prepare compliance reports.
• Policy Management: coordinate policy reviews and ensure policies are current and accessible.
