Job summary

Inspire Education Group (IEG) is seeking a Governance & Data Protection Manager to lead information governance, data protection compliance and policy frameworks across our Further Education College Group. The role involves coordinating GDPR compliance, managing information rights requests and maintaining records and policies.

You will work closely with the CFO and Governance Director, providing expert guidance and ensuring high standards of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GDPR and information governance principles.
• Strong communication and IT skills to prepare reports and analyse information.
• Experience with data protection processes or information rights requests is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GDPR/data protection compliance and information governance across the group.
• Manage FOI/EIR requests and information asset registers.
• Maintain records retention schedules and policy reviews.
