Job summary

IEG is seeking a proactive Governance & Data Protection (GDPR) Manager to lead information governance, data protection compliance and policy frameworks across the College Group. Based in Stamford, you will work with the Chief Finance Officer and Governance Director to ensure policies and procedures remain compliant and fit for purpose, supporting governance and risk management.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37 hours per week and a salary of £35,396 per annum, with opportunities for

• Experience governing data protection and information governance programs.
• Ability to coordinate GDPR compliance across multiple sites or departments.
• Strong policy development and risk-management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GDPR compliance and data protection activities.
• Manage FOI requests and information governance processes.
• Maintain records and information asset registers.
• Support governance meetings and reporting to senior leaders.
• Coordinate policy reviews and ensure accessibility and currency.
