Dyke House Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support interventions with students needing extra mentoring to achieve GCSEs across KS3 and KS4. You will promote learning and welfare by providing practical support under the direction of a class teacher or Inclusion Manager.

The role involves delivering targeted interventions, mentoring students, and assisting in planning and evaluating learning objectives, while helping students improve literacy, language and reasoning skills.

Competenze

• Experience supporting students with additional mentoring.
• Ability to work with students across KS3/KS4.
• Experience with special educational needs (SEN) support.
• Willingness to work under a teacher or Inclusion Manager.

Mansioni

• Deliver targeted intervention programs to individuals and small groups.
• Mentor students and record progress logs.
• Support planning, monitoring and evaluation of learning objectives.
• Help develop literacy, language and reasoning skills.
• Assist with use of ICT in learning.
• Supervise classes during short-term absences.
• Assist in invigilation of exams as required.
