Job summary

Teach Now currently seeks an English Intervention Specialist in Watford to deliver targeted English interventions to small groups (up to four pupils) for KS3 and GCSE learners. The post is full-time temporary work, starting 06/10/2026, with a salary range of £35,602–£54,328 per annum (London Fringe).

Qualifications

• QTS and right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching English or literacy to school pupils.
• Strong knowledge of reading, writing and English curriculum.
• Confident supporting Key Stage 3 and GCSE learners.
• Availability to work five full days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted English interventions to groups of up to four pupils.
• Assess gaps and plan sessions around individual needs.
• Adapt explanations and activities to make English accessible.
• Build confidence through practice and constructive feedback.
