Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale GCP environments using IaC, Terraform, and cloud security best practices.

You will drive governance, automation, and compliance with industry standards, developing reusable Terraform modules and enabling scalable deployments across multiple clients in a hybrid UK work model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience securing enterprise-scale GCP environments.
• Proficient in Terraform IaC and module development.
• Strong knowledge of CIS benchmarks and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with IAM, VPC, firewall rules, Shared VPC, Cloud Logging Monitoring, SCC, and Cloud Audit Logs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable GCP environments.
• Implement and maintain Terraform IaC and reusable modules.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and security controls across environments.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and operational risk management.
