Job summary

HelloKindred is seeking a highly technical Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer to join a hybrid team delivering secure cloud platforms for an enterprise environment. You will automate infrastructure, embed security into delivery pipelines and operate within a regulated banking-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of GCP core services (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build/Run).
• Expertise in cloud security, IAM, logging/monitoring and network protection.
• Proficient in DevOps/SRE concepts, resilience, observability, and incident response.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Config Connector for IaC and automated deployment.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, GitOps tools and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and manage components of a GCP foundation platform.
• Develop IaC and automation to standardise platforms and guardrails.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Configure and manage IAM, networking, logging, and container platforms.
• Maintain compliant Cloud security postures and auditability through evidence and controls mapping.
• Produce high-quality runbooks and operational handover documentation.
