Job summary

Capgemini is seeking fellow cloud platform engineers to design, build and maintain secure cloud platforms for UK clients. You will work within Cloud Pods, focus on automation, standardisation and reusable blueprints, and contribute to platform maturity.

You’ll operate in an agile environment, applying Infrastructure as Code, version control and observability practices, with opportunities for hands-on training and career growth within Capgemini’s cloud community.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and maintaining AWS cloud platforms and services.
• Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with emphasis on standardisation and automation.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security principles and operational resilience in AWS.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Kubernetes, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve cloud platforms using a code-first approach and reusable assets.
• Collaborate in agile delivery environments to support project delivery and platform maturity.
• Apply modern cloud engineering practices including IaC, version control, observability and security.
• Contribute to Capgemini’s cloud platform patterns and engineering standards.
