Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale GCP environments using IaC, Terraform, and cloud security best practices.

You will drive governance, automation, and compliance with industry standards, developing reusable Terraform modules and enabling scalable deployments across multiple clients in a hybrid UK work model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience securing enterprise-scale GCP environments.
• Proficient in Terraform IaC and module development.
• Strong knowledge of CIS benchmarks and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with IAM, VPC, firewall rules, Shared VPC, Cloud Logging Monitoring, SCC, and Cloud Audit Logs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, governance, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-scale cloud environments while ensuring compliance with industry security standards and cloud best practice.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce cloud infrastructure standards. Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
